How long does floor sanding take?

A standard 80–100m² home typically takes 3–4 days including sanding, filling, coating and drying time. Larger homes, stairs or heavy repair work can add extra days. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the site visit.

Our main sanding machines run with dust extraction systems that capture the majority of dust. However, edges, corners and stairs require smaller machines and manual work that does generate some dust. We set honest expectations — your home won't be perfectly dust-free, but it's far better than it used to be.

Do I need to move my furniture?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all furniture must be removed from the work areas before we start. This includes rugs, curtains touching the floor, and anything breakable on shelves near sanding areas. We can advise on what needs moving during the site visit.
